Nicholas Nase
I'm especially interested in preventative care and soft tissue surgery. I enjoy the balance of being proactive to keep pets healthy and the hands-on nature of performing surgical procedures.
Also, I enjoy managing long-term health conditions, particularly more complex cases, and I place a strong emphasis on client education so owners feel confident continuing care at home.
Questions and Answers about Dr. Nicholas Nase:
What inspired you to work in veterinary medicine?
I’ve always been interested in both science and animals, but what really solidified my path was seeing firsthand how much of a difference thoughtful care and clear communication can make for both pets and their owners. I was drawn to the balance of problem-solving, hands-on medicine, and building relationships with clients.
What do you love most about working with animals?
I love being able to advocate for patients who can’t speak for themselves while also supporting the families that care for them. It’s especially rewarding to see a patient improve and to help owners feel more confident and informed about their pet’s care.
What are you looking forward to most about working here?
I’m most excited about the opportunity to serve a community I’m already connected to. Being from this area, it’s meaningful to me to give back while continuing to grow as a clinician and build lasting relationships with clients and their pets.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, spending time with my fiancé and our dog, and being outdoors whenever possible.
