Doctors Daniel and David Pike opened the doors of Dover Area Animal Hospital on December 1, 1999. Their mother, Ursula Pike, served as their technician, receptionist, and bookkeeper. As word spread about these two dynamic individuals and their sincere compassion for large and small animals alike, their small client base grew dramatically. Over the next 5-7 years as the practice became well established, Doctors Dan and Dave recognized their need for additional staff and space.
